Drybar Bethesda Will Serve Bubbly with Their Blowouts Starting July 1

I live for announcing moments like this on the blog. Beauty locavores know that since Drybar opened its doors, patrons are unfortunately not able to enjoy that complimentary glass of wine or bubbly like they would at any other location because of the very strict Montgomery County laws (insert sad face here). Well blow dry junkies, today was a big day (like a Texas Tea hair type of day). HB-137 aka The Drybar Bill, passed the house and was signed into law by Governor O’Malley today at The Governor’s Reception Room, Maryland State House. The law (drafted by Montgomery County delegate Ariana Kelly who worked diligently with Drybar Bethesda Manager Courtney Barfield) is a huge change for the county. This bill allows hair salons to apply for a permit to serve complimentary wine or champagne for their clients beginning July 1st. Drybar founder Alli Webb flew in specially for the signing ceremony (looking fabulous of course, with a fresh ‘do and pink lip) with Governor O’Malley. Thank you Governor for understanding the importance of champs with our blowouts. Now, let the countdown begin!
