I have to admit—my makeup routine has been pretty dismal these last few weeks. Why? I’ve been so caught up testing new products for my skin that I realized the last time I posted a makeup review was February. That, and this past weekend was the first time I put on foundation in about two weeks. But my lips say otherwise.
I love wearing bright lipsticks (yes, lipstick > lipgloss). My lipstick color choices are always rich in bold, vibrant hues and these shades from Scorch Makeup, a new brand I recently discovered, is right up my alley.

After endless YouTube video plays, countless glitter shadow testing and brush hunting, I finally figured it out. The secret to a sultry glitter smokey eye has has nothing to do with finding the “right” product but everything to do with technique. Of course, a product that actually delivers is definitely a factor but we all know, practice makes perfect. So don’t expect perfection the first time you try it.
