It’s been almost a year since I’ve done a beauty video. And now I remember why. Vlogging is hard! I’m so used to hiding behind my laptop, typing away without having to worry about how I look or what I’m about to say. I seriously don’t know how you beauty vloggers do it! Just so you know, I previously prepped my skin with moisturizer, primer, foundation, and blush. I also applied a basic eye primer on my lids. I really wanted this eye makeup tutorial to be as simple as possible. Hence, why it’s only a minute long. If you’re not a makeup artist mastermind, this tutorial is right up your alley. I didn’t use any fancy brushes or technique. Just my fingertips, a couple long-wearing cream shadows, a precise liquid eyeliner, and a fabulous volumizing mascara, all by COVERGIRL!
I used to be that girl that would comb through every glitter smokey eye tutorial in every magazine, hoping I would find that secret tip or trick to give me that flawless smokey eye look. Truth is I never found it. If you’ve never tried glitter eyeshadow, lemmetellya… it’s super messy. And covering up any mistakes? Forget about it!
