Messy Pony Tutorial
You know what I love about messy ponytails? They don’t (or shouldn’t) require much time or effort. But of course, the day I break down my step-by-step tutorial, it takes me longer to figure out the perfect formula for a messy ponytail. The best tip I can offer is this: stop thinking and just do it. Embrace the bumps, the loose strands and natural texture. Anyways, I’m excited to share with you my messy pony look that only requires a brush, a couple hair ties and hair spray.

How the Dyson Humidifier Saved My Dry Skin
With colder weather upon us, I heavily rely on a core group of skin products. For instance, my daily moisturizer—The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream is my go-to daily face cream that leaves my skin feeling super soft. I religiously apply Tula Revitalizing Eye Cream in the morning and at night to prevent dark circles. I always keep a lip balm near me at all times (on my nightstand, Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Overnight Balm and in my handbag, Glossier Balm Dotcom). Once or twice a week, I treat myself to a facial sheet mask. Lately I’ve been in to Korean and Japanese skin treatments—like Hada Labo Tokyo Ultimate Anti-Aging Facial Mask (it’s drenched in a full bottle of serum to boost hydration and restore firmness). Needless to say, I have quite the arsenal to combat dry skin.
What I’ve recently discovered though is hydrated skin doesn’t just come from trusty beauty products. I’ve been maintaining a healthy complexion thanks to one more product that conveniently keeps my skin in check. Welcome to my living space: the Dyson humidifier.

Revlon Beauty Lip Must-Haves Under $9
Last year it was all about the naked lip. This season, expect to see plenty of deep reds, rich marsalas, dramatic bronzed nudes, and dusty pinks.
I usually lean towards nudes and pinks, but there’s a part of me that wants to step out of my comfort zone and based on my recent trip to Walgreens, I was able to do just that. I took four Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks for a test drive. From daytime demure to bold beauty, check out my Revlon beauty must-haves under $9.
For a daytime fall look, I’m going to keep Mauvy Night (creme finish) in my handbag at all times. That slightly darker lip shade just works for basically every occasion. I’ve discovered Wine With Everything will take you from desk to drinks. Fuchsia Fusion (pearl finish) and Certainly Red (creme) are perfect shades for date night. In addition to rich lip shades, defined eyes and rosy cheeks are also trending this fall. To complete my fall makeup look, I opted for a neutral taupe shadow, black gel eyeliner and a couple coats of mascara—simple, classic and gives your pout the attention it deserves.
Shopping for a drugstore lipstick can be overwhelming but just remember— the most flattering lip tone will be one or two shades darker than your natural lip color.

The New Instantly-Hydrating Facial Cleanser You Need to Try
Washing my face at night has always felt somewhat of a chore for me. While I cringe at the thought of wearing makeup to bed, keeping my skin hydrated and youthful is of the utmost importance to me. Cleansing helps manage PH levels of the skin and without it, our pores become clogged and it leads to a bevy of skin issues. I frequently get compliments on my soft glowing skin and there’s a good reason for that: Simple Skincare Micellar Cleansing Water. This one-step hydrating facial cleanser is packed with skin-loving ingredients such as triple purified water (to instantly hydrate and help minimize irritation), vitamin B3 (known to restore and soften skin), vitamin C, and Hexylene Glycol (which helps dissolve makeup and kindly conditions skin). Wiping makeup off is easy—I apply a generous amount to a cotton pad and gently wipe around my face—no rinsing required! My complexion looks refreshed and my skin feels clean and soft without any trace of makeup residue. Cleansing no longer feels like a chore because this routine is equal parts refreshing and quick (and did I mention affordable?) Check out Simple Skincare Micellar Cleansing Water and #TestTheWater for yourself!
