Summer—it’s my favorite season of the year, and not just because my birthday is in July. Like any seasonal shift, I like to update my every day essentials to maximize adaptability while minimizing perspiration. Whether it’s my everyday cross body bag, my work tote or carry-on, these are my favorite summer beauty essentials I’ll be taking with me:
Caudalie Beauty Elixir: I love spraying this on my hands first and them rubbing them together to gently pat on my face to refresh. It’s also a great setting spray for makeup. I have a full-size at home and I bring a mini when I travel. I love a dewy complexion, especially for summer.
Secret Freshies in Cool Waterlily: Up until Secret Freshies entered my life, I was relying on the stick of deodorant I applied at home to last me all day. Yes, it was risky… and I usually regretted the decision by the end of the day. While a full-size deodorant isn’t exactly huge, it’s not very discreet – and it can make a mess inside your purse. That’s why I love my Freshies’ round, compact shape. It fits discreetly in the palm of my hand for inconspicuous application no matter where I am. Plus, the packaging has grooves for easy, quick and precise application every time. Click on the link above to purchase at Walmart!
Urban Decay Beached Palette: I’m traveling quite a bit this summer and you better believe my favorite “beachy” eyeshadow palette is being packed in my carry-on. What I love about this palette is that I have plenty of shades to use for a day look or I can transform into a sultry eye look for evening.
MILK Makeup Cooling Water Stick: It feels so refreshing on my bare skin and it’s perfect for long day trips in the sun or at the beach. It’s small enough to fit in just about any day bag.
Kendra Scott Gold Drop Earrings in Turquoise: Because who doesn’t love wearing turquoise during the summer? I love that I can wear these day or night and look polished for any occasion.
